▼ The domestic model brand Chuang Model Toys teams up with Mazinkaiser to deliver a heavyweight alloy inner-frame model kit: Mazinkaiser (sample version), now officially revealed!
The main body alone stands approximately 30 cm tall. Once equipped with the Kaiser Scrander wings, its full expansion reaches an impressive span of over 50 cm. That is not all. The manufacturer has added three original weapons, enhanced the internal frame with abundant mechanical detailing, and refined the structural design throughout. This is truly a release worthy of the long wait. Let’s dive in.Outer Box, Runners & Accessories Overview

The outer packaging features a giant suitcase-style design with a carry handle.

▼ All runners and accessories are shown below. The layout is well organized by section: head and torso, arms, legs, wings, and weapons. Most parts are fairly large, so despite the high runner count, locating pieces is manageable. However, total assembly time still ranges around 8 to 12 hours.

▼ The glossy black armor features an automotive-style lacquer finish with subtle blue metallic flakes under strong lighting.

▼ The red parts are molded in two matte tones, light and dark. The chest heat plate uses highly transparent parts.
The gold inner frame utilizes two shades of gold paint application. The outer armor comes pre-painted in steel silver. Pre-painted parts fit slightly tighter, while the rest of the build process remains smooth.

▼ Fully articulated fingers are made of POM and require assembly.

▼ Etched detail parts and a metal nameplate are included.

▼ The pre-assembled alloy inner frame comes in blister packaging and includes the complete frame, alloy support pillar, wing backpack, and tail section.

▼ The Emperor of Mazins – Mazinkaiser

Among the many Mazinkaiser releases, this new version retains the original silhouette while adding layered armor segmentation and complex panel detailing. It distinguishes itself from the Infinity style by emphasizing heavier mechanical aesthetics. Rivet detailing is present across the entire body and wings, reinforcing the concept of the strongest Mazine built on Earth.

▼ Without the Kaiser Scrander, the base body appears even more robust and imposing. Removing parts of the outer armor reveals the gold inner frame and dense mechanical detailing, reminiscent of classic PG-style design philosophy.

▼ Many internal details are enhanced with etched parts. Though mostly hidden once armored, they remain essential during the build process.

▼ The Kaiser Scrander wings contain a complete internal frame structure.

▼ The head-mounted battle craft “Kaiser Pilder” transforms independently. It houses a fish-bladder style bulb (CR311 battery required) that activates the eye LED.

▼ The head sculpt preserves the iconic crown design. The eye area uses separately pre-painted parts. Adding darker panel lining to the steel silver sections enhances depth.

▼ The chest heat plate contains an LED unit with three lighting modes:
Charged flame burst
Breathing light
Constant light
The lighting also illuminates the inner mesh detailing.

▼ The abdominal armor is styled like a six-pack structure. The central hatch opens to install the “Giant Missile,” which in lore is launched after Mazinkaiser grips and aims it.

▼ By swapping effect parts, you can recreate the chest-drawn Kaiser Blade and shoulder-drawn Kaiser Dual Swords. Fit here is tight, so minor peg trimming may help.

▼ During arm assembly, take care distinguishing left and right forearms. The blade-shaped armor pieces are 12 unique parts and must be installed according to part numbers.

▼ Rocket Punch effects include dedicated flame and exhaust effect parts, also separated into left and right sets.

▼ A small display stand supports the punch-launching pose.

▼ The legs feature muscular sculpting. Calf panels open to reveal internal details. The knees are sharp, so handle with care.

The torso features upper and lower rotation sections, about 45 degrees left and right.
Due to wing weight, backward bending is not included. Forward bend and side tilt reach about 35 degrees.
Head tilt is somewhat limited by design. Without a pull-out neck joint, expressiveness is slightly reduced given the large chest armor.

▼ Shoulder joints extend outward about 45 degrees, allowing arms-crossed poses.

▼ Maximum lateral raise is about 120 degrees. Elbows are double-jointed. Upper and forearm linkage enhances range.
Includes articulated hands plus four sets of interchangeable weapon-holding hands.

▼ Legs feature triple-segment armor separation when fully bent. Drop-down hip joints improve mobility. Ankle tilt reaches about 35 degrees. Kneeling poses are easily achieved.

▼ The Kaiser Scrander wings feature multiple sliding armor segments when fully deployed.

▼ Given their size and weight, the main pivot joints include locking mechanisms.

▼ Thrusters use transparent blue parts for added detail.

▼ As the only alloy inner-frame Mazinkaiser assembly kit on the market, refined over three years of development, it strikes a balance between complexity and accessibility. Despite the high part count, assembly remains manageable.

With its alloy skeleton, extensive pre-painted parts, and matte molded colors, the finished result rivals fully assembled products in texture and presence.

However, due to its large size and 1.4 kg weight, this is not a figure meant for frequent handling. Once built, it earns its throne inside a display cabinet, where it rules in silence and steel.
