▼ It weighs around 2 jin (approximately 1 kg) and contains a large number of die-cast metal parts. The paintwork leans more toward a metallic finish with a high gloss, and the color tone differs from that of Getter Dragon. The color separation is well-executed, faithfully recreating the look from the anime. Additional surface detailing has been added to the armor based on the original design, with panel lines and raised areas making the model appear more dynamic and less plain.

▼ The detailing on the head is well executed, with panel lines of moderate depth and clean lining work. The eyes and mouth use transparent parts with metallic paint applied underneath, giving them a nice effect even without lighting up. The open design of the mouth allows a subtle glimpse of Ryoma Nagare inside, adding an extra layer of realism.

▼ The light switch for the head is located on the top—just press it to turn the lights on or off.

▼ The neck features an independent joint structure and is fully articulated.

▼ This product features a “battle-damaged armor” gimmick, focused on the chest, arms, and legs. The outer armor is magnetically attached, making it easy to remove. The internal mechanical components are well-detailed and feature nice color separation.

▼ The waist section is equipped with an internal spring mechanism, so when the torso bends forward, it will automatically lower.

▼ The cape can be displayed in two styles: short and long. Let’s take a look at the short version first. The red paint finish closely matches the main body, maintaining a consistent overall look.

Both paint schemes have their own appeal, but if you’re a fan of metallic finishes, this Getter G is the better choice. The paint application is well-controlled, with no major visible flaws. The joint tension is nicely tuned—neither too loose nor too tight—though the 2-jin (approx. 1kg) weight of the figure can make extended posing a bit tiring.

▼ In terms of features, it’s quite rich. The light-up effects and armor-removal gimmick are designed for easy activation and switching. The motorized rotating cannon adds a fresh and exciting element, making this Getter a standout release.
