The domestic model brand Chief Continent has once again expanded its Super Mobile Cavalry series with a new release. The samples of the 1/144 Hongmo Red Version have recently arrived.
Returning to a realistic military-mecha style, this brand-new unit was developed with heavy firepower suppression as its core concept. The entire body is equipped with multiple 3mm expansion ports, making customization and modification extremely easy.
Today, let’s take an early hands-on look at it!

The first release of Hongmo comes in two versions: red and green, which can be understood as a commander unit and a standard unit.
The body features 13 expansion ports across the entire frame.
Its appearance is clean and blocky, and with the cockpit located in the head, it strongly resembles the famous “Lao’anli (red brick)” aesthetic, which is also one of Hongmo’s most eye-catching features.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see a black or desert-yellow version in the future.

▼ The head comes with two configurations, allowing for a piloted version and an unmanned version.
The windshield has three color options; recommended combinations are green + orange.

▼ The back shows no obvious gaps even during extreme forward bends, and the thrusters can move up and down.
