▼ The part details are quite sharp, and most of the gate marks are hidden-type.

▼ The display stand base is packaged separately, possibly intended for use with other future models as well. The stand’s pivot joints use a slot-based design, providing sufficient angle stability, though it’s not very easy to adjust the angle.

▼ Includes one fluorescent marking water decal for the unit.

▼ The main body stands approximately 21 cm tall. Compared to the “Y-20,” this unit features a sleeker and more stylish silhouette. Its color scheme, inspired by real aerospace military equipment, combines deep aviation gray with white. Signature design elements of the J-20 fighter jet are present on the chest, thigh thrusters, and backpack wings, giving the impression that the mech is “wearing” the J-20. Additionally, cloud-patterned detailing can be found on the shoulders, skirt armor, and lower legs, adding a unique and interesting touch.

▼ The figure features a relatively complete internal frame structure, with metal alloy joints integrated into the arms, torso, hips, legs, and feet to provide both weight balance and overall stability.

▼ Personally, I really like the design of the head sculpt. However, the transparent parts for the eyes are positioned on the inside, making it difficult for light to pass through under normal lighting. It’s recommended to apply some metallic paint to the eye area to enhance the effect.

▼ Although the backpack and torso are connected using POM parts for a tight fit, due to the overall weight of the figure, the backpack still tends to come loose easily. It’s recommended to secure it with model cement or a small amount of adhesive for a more stable hold.

▼ The cockpit on the chest features a fully detailed interior and a functional opening hatch. The design of the pilot seat is inspired by the actual layout of the J-20, showcasing a thoughtful and well-executed design choice.

▼ The neck uses a single ball joint, allowing for about 45 degrees of upward tilt, though the downward range is somewhat limited. The waist joint is preassembled with alloy and POM parts, offering a wide range of forward bending, side tilting, and horizontal rotation. It’s recommended to apply plastic cement at the connection point between the front and back waist sections to prevent the parts from separating during lateral torso rotation.

▼ The shoulder and elbow joints are preassembled with alloy and POM parts. The arms can raise over 90 degrees, and the elbows bend beyond 120 degrees. They also allow for significant forward extension, making it possible to pose the figure holding the greatsword with both hands.

▼ There are two types of hands included: articulated gripping hands and open-palm hands. However, only one set of backhand armor pieces is provided, which is definitely a point worth criticizing.

▼ The missile launchers on the shoulders can deploy in a linked motion on both sides, and the bottom compartments can store the hand cannons. The connection between the launchers and the shoulder armor uses ball joints, providing better directional flexibility when posing the upper body.

▼ The legs use a reverse-joint structure, where the thigh thruster armor and the hydraulic pistons on the back of the lower legs move in a linked motion when bending the knees. However, despite the wide knee articulation and ankle ground contact range, the short thigh and long lower leg proportions make it impossible to achieve a proper kneeling pose.

▼ The wing-shaped “composite armament” is arguably Cangwei’s most powerful weapon. It can be separated and reassembled into three different forms: dual blades, a greatsword, and a razor. Combined with its excellent articulation, it delivers a dynamic and powerful presence when posed.

▼ As the second military-themed mecha born from the collaboration between Xiwanshe and Aviation Cultural Creativity, this model shows significant progress in design, delivering a truly refreshing impression—which is quite rare and commendable. The use of mainstream alloy + POM joint structures enhances the overall weight and handling. However, due to limitations in the design, its articulation performance remains fairly standard, leaving room for further improvement.
