▼ The set version packaging adds an extra layer with a carry case on top of the individual packaging. The separate compartments inside and outside also add to the unboxing experience, making it feel quite ceremonious, don’t you think?

▼ As usual, the base is a metal magnetic stand, and the support has been changed to a snake-like bone structure. This allows for more freedom when posing the figure in dynamic, flying poses.

▼ As a heavy mass-produced model, the “Tyrant” has a very solid and robust overall appearance, with simplified details throughout. The differences between the three models in the squad lie in the shoulder armor, skirt armor, and knee pads, while the color scheme is a unified sand-gray tone.

▼ The model features a semi-gloss finish with color separation, and some details are done in metallic colors. Each of the three models has a different serial number decal. The metal blue-green color on the waist of the current sample will be adjusted in the final production batch.

▼ The model is approximately 20 cm in size and weighs over 490 grams, making it taller and heavier than the outstanding-level GAT-X105 Aile Strike.

▼ The head is equipped with a magnetic lighting system (battery: LR521), offering two display modes: constant on and breathing light. The side of the head features a single antenna, so handle with care. The final production version will have reinforced parts.

▼ Those with a keen eye will notice that most of the power cables on the body have been given a color-separated paint job. However, the color, similar to that on the waist, is a bit too bold and stands out quite a bit.

▼ The inner lining of the shoulder armor and skirt armor has also been given detailed color separation.

▼ The backpack features three large exhaust nozzles made from fluorescent transparent parts, which react to UV light with a glowing effect. Additionally, you can attach three propulsion effect parts for added visual impact.

▼ The backpack can be detached independently, and the square slot can be filled with replacement parts. I have a feeling that more types of replacement backpacks will be released in the future.

▼ In terms of articulation, the neck has a dual-joint structure, allowing for movements such as tilting up and down, rotating left and right, and side-to-side bending, making it quite flexible.

▼ The arms have a wide range of outward movement, and the shoulder armor can independently lift to make space. The elbows feature a double-joint structure for added flexibility, and the model comes with a variety of interchangeable hand parts.

▼ Although the upper body has a full, robust design, the waist still offers excellent mobility, allowing for bending, side bending, and rotating up to 45 degrees. It’s fair to call it a flexible “heavyweight” figure.

▼ All the skirt armor can be lifted to make space, and the thigh area features an extendable joint, allowing for excellent forward and backward kicking range. However, the side kick joint is a bit tight. The knees have a double-joint structure with a linked motion effect, and the ankles can angle about 45 degrees for side-to-ground contact. Additionally, magnets are placed in the soles of the feet to assist with standing stability.

▼ The Squad’s No. 1 unit is equipped with a large shield, rocket launcher, and beam rifle.

▼ The back of the large shield is filled with rich details and has been carefully color-separated. The interior of the shield also has space to store a small handgun.

▼ The rocket launcher, as a one-handed weapon, would have even more play potential if it could be extended or used with both hands for a more dynamic pose.

▼ The beam rifles standard for all three units feature detailed color separation.

▼ The Squad’s No. 2 unit, designed for close-combat assaults, is equipped with short-range melee weapons. The rear skirt armor can carry two grenades. When posing in close-quarters combat stances, the high-mobility metal joints truly shine, providing stability and fluidity in dynamic poses.

▼ The Squad’s No. 3 unit, designed as a melee breacher, is equipped with a large anti-armor hammer, an assault shield, and a massive thermal axe.

▼ The front of the anti-armor hammer is equipped with a bearing rotor, allowing for smooth and effective rotational inertia.

▼ As a breacher, wielding a large mace and a massive shield is definitely the most fitting choice.

▼ As a rare mass-produced model in the series, the articulation design maintains the exceptional standard of high-end models, while the overall shape exudes a unique charm. Currently, the set version is priced slightly lower and allows for the full experience of all the weapons and equipment, adding to the interactive play value. If the exterior armor could offer more disassembly and maintenance features, or if a weapon accessory pack were released in the future, it would likely be even more popular.
