▼ The character-specific stand comes in two versions: gray and transparent. The transparent stand can also be inserted into the gray stand as an extension. The base includes a spacious compartment for storing larger parts.

▼ Other included items: Marking decals, facial expression decals, and a collector card. There are also two LED light units and a set of transparent yellow talisman parts. (The talisman decals feature auspicious phrases like “Wishing You Prosperity” and “Good Fortune”.)

▼ The character design features “Ren,” a human who has been transformed into a zombie-themed JS-009 mass-production unit.

▼ With dual body types and two different skin tone part sets included, both forms can be assembled using either skin tone based on your preference. However, it’s important to decide which tone to use before assembly, as swapping the skin tone parts after building can be quite troublesome.

▼ The mecha-girl form stands approximately 18.5 cm tall, while the base body is about 15 cm tall—making the figure roughly 1/10 scale in terms of human proportions.

▼ The design of the mecha-girl form incorporates elements of traditional Chinese jiangshi (hopping vampire) official robes, while the limbs are fully mechanical—featuring claws and a chainsaw.

▼ Her skin tone is a pale bluish shade, evoking the look of lifeless flesh. Large areas of exposed skin are visible on the chest, abdomen, and thighs, and from the back, there’s a beautifully sculpted waist and hip silhouette that adds to the overall appeal.

▼ In contrast, the basic body form looks much fresher and more adorable~ This version is especially suited to the special bonus pink-toned skin parts and can be used as a base body for dressing up with various doll outfits available on the market.

▼ The chest armor can be swapped out for a design similar to the mecha-girl form. The body structure is comparable to other mecha-girls on the market, featuring butterfly shoulder joints. The black over-knee sock sections on the legs use a nested part design without needing to be split left and right, which I think is a really nice touch.

▼ By using the extra light blue skin tone parts, you can assemble an additional upper body. Mixing and matching the parts from the mecha-girl and basic body forms allows you to create a “lightly equipped zombie girl” look.

▼ Even in a straight build (without additional painting), the parts’ color separation already shows a high level of completeness. The pre-painted gold parts, in particular, are a strong highlight. The leg’s mechanical structure also includes red springs as decorative details. When handling the figure, be cautious of the sharp claws and toe tips.

▼ The light blue skin tone comes with 4 pre-painted faceplates (default, sad, closed eyes, and shouting). To swap expressions, the hat and hair parts need to be removed. If you plan to frequently change expressions for play, you may consider slightly trimming the pegs on the faceplate parts to make replacement easier.

▼ The mecha girl form also includes a complete “Corpse Unit” head sculpt. Instead of a cute girl, the head is a terrifying skull design, with three wires extending from the back of the head. The skull head sculpt has a built-in LED light that can be turned on by pressing the hat; it will automatically turn off after about 30 seconds.

▼ The special bonus skin tone version also includes four expressions (smiling, dazed, sad, and default). Compared to the pale blue skin tone, the eye makeup features an added touch of red eyeshadow for extra detail.

▼ The total number of interchangeable hands across both forms and both skin tones is quite impressive. With the wide range of facial expressions paired with matching hand options, you can pose the figure in many cool and adorable ways~

▼ The torso uses the same structure as the standard body. The neck features both a ball joint and a swivel joint, allowing for a wide range of upward movement. The ball joint between the chest and waist also enables flexible horizontal rotation and side bending. The braided ponytail at the back of the head is quite long, so be sure to check the direction of the swivel joint before adjusting the angle.

▼ The arm weapons can be switched between claw mode, large electroplated blades, dual chainsaws, or reverted back to standard hand mode.

▼ The shoulders feature butterfly joints that allow a 90-degree forward swing. The arms can be raised horizontally and bent at the elbows up to 90 degrees.

▼ The mechanical legs can transform into a reverse-joint structure or be extended for added length. The heel connectors share the same design as the forearm sleeves, allowing compatibility with various weapon attachments. However, the ankles lack articulation for grounded poses, so a stand is necessary to support standing and dynamic poses.

▼ The outer thigh armor can be extended outward to allow for lateral leg movement clearance. The knee joints have a maximum bending angle of 120 degrees.

▼ The Meteor Hammer “Starshatter” is said to carry the lingering consciousness of “Jiu” according to its lore. Pressing the top activates the built-in LED light unit. All of the spikes are separately molded and can be reconfigured into either a handheld mode or a meteor-ball form. With the help of a clear stand and the figure’s articulation, it’s easy to recreate a variety of dynamic swinging and attack poses.

▼ “Little Corpse Sister – Jiulian” has finally been officially released after its gray prototype debut at WF 2023. From the generous accessory lineup to the pricing, it stays true to Molin Studio’s signature “packed with value” style. Beyond the dual full-body builds, the combination options between the weaponry and main body are a major highlight. Even though it’s a model kit mecha-girl, the articulation joints offer a sturdiness and tactile satisfaction that can rival or even surpass pre-assembled action figures.
