▼ The assembly manual is fully printed in color, and the parts are very well organized on the runners. With the manual, it’s easy to quickly locate the needed parts — this definitely deserves praise.

▼ The pre-assembled die-cast frame comes in a blister package. The 4 included liquid tubes are SE drivers. The limbs of the die-cast frame are very tight during initial assembly — please handle with care to avoid injury.

▼ All parts are molded in a matte finish. The overall production quality is very refined. As per standard practice in Chinese model kits, 90% of the parts use “hidden gate” design.

▼ All accessories are shown below. All weapons that should be included according to the design are provided, and there is also a display base similar to those from Metal Build.

This unit is the rival machine of “Tyrant Sword” — Mesala Diophasta Jupiter. What could that name possibly mean~?

▼ Even though this mecha design dates back to 1987, under the “modernization” by the Cold Steel team, it retains the iconic “Fujita-style” silhouette while refining the limb proportions—making it still visually impressive even after 38 years. This shows the team’s deep understanding of the design. The most notable change from the original is the replacement of some yellow details with translucent yellow-green parts to enhance visual depth. Combined with the uniform matte-finished molded color, the model already achieves a high level of completion with just panel lining and decals.

▼ The main body weighs approximately 650g and stands about 20cm tall, aligning with a 1/100 scale. Its broad, horizontally-developed build gives it a visual presence that feels even larger than the specs suggest.

▼ In addition to the pre-assembled functional metal frame, interior detailing is still applied to the skeleton. Notably, the inner leg frame comes with silver pre-painted parts to enhance the texture—truly a thoughtful touch!

▼ The SE Drive units use embedded liquid tubes for implementation and can be installed on the forearms and the back of the lower legs. However, once installed, they are not visible from the outside—similar to a cockpit, it’s a soul-infusing design element.

▼ The detailing on the mecha is restrained yet appropriate. The redesigned head, compared to the original, stands out more prominently—showing that the team understands that a good customization is about refinement, not random changes.

▼ The yellow-green transparent parts react with UV light and exhibit a fluorescent effect.

▼ The cockpit of the unit features a linked opening mechanism. Inside, the pilot seat replicates a “feedback cockpit system” based on the motorcycle-riding posture from the official design materials.

▼ Thanks to its large size, the unit features yellow grille parts for the heat vents across various sections of the body, with clearly separated components and colors.

▼ The leg design showcases the iconic “Fujita” style, with flared pants and pointed shoes creating smooth, flowing lines—still remarkably fashionable even by today’s standards.

▼ The side skirts conceal beam saber hilts shaped like motorcycle handlebars. According to the mecha’s design, they come with soft wires to replicate the connection between the saber and the main body when drawn. The beam blades include both straight and curved variants.

▼ The 4 included sets of expressive hands are made of soft PVC material.

▼ The arm design closely follows the original, with front shoulder panels that can open to reveal the internal SE Field Generator.

▼ Thanks to the sturdy alloy inner frame, the two large SE thrusters on the back remain stable without tipping over. They are connected to the main body via PVC tubes, making them difficult to remove once fully assembled—so if you plan to paint them, be sure to do so in advance.

▼ The upper section of the thruster features a linked expansion mechanism that activates when the rear is extended.

▼ The fuel tubes beneath the thrusters also feature a similar linked expansion mechanism.

▼ The signature weapon of the unit—the SE-Driven Beam Cannon—has been redesigned with increased size and thickness compared to the original setting and previous models. By sliding the front end of the barrel downward, it reveals internal mechanical details and allows the muzzle to extend forward.

▼ The shield design carries a strong “Z-style” vibe. Although the main unit is not transformable by design, the front end of the shield can be equipped with a beam blade effect part.

▼ The forearms have built-in weapon connection ports, allowing for stable mounting of the shield and the large beam cannon.

▼ In full armament mode, the overall appearance becomes significantly broader.

▼ Thanks to the functional alloy inner frame, this heavy unit still offers impressive articulation. The forearms allow for an extensive range of forward and backward motion. However, the shoulder joints are extremely tight, so assembling them may require quite a bit of force.

▼ The waist can rotate 180 degrees horizontally, and it also allows for a small range of side-to-side tilting.

▼ There is actually a forward bend range of about 45 degrees at the waist, but after installing the rear thrusters, this joint becomes much tighter, so it’s not recommended to force movement.

▼ The head has limited up and down movement due to the soft neck tubing, but it can still turn left and right up to approximately 90 degrees.

▼ The shoulder features a two-stage lateral raise, reaching up to 90 degrees. The elbow bends about 120 degrees, and the forearm includes an independent horizontal rotation joint.

▼ Despite the bulky lower body design, the wide range of motion in the knee joints still allows for a fairly standard single-knee kneeling pose. The heel can extend backward to increase ground contact and stability.

▼ The base stand follows a fairly standard MB style, and the pattern on the platform requires manual water decal application. The stand can barely support the main body’s 650g weight—it’s just enough for basic display. However, posing the figure in wide dynamic stances on the stand proves to be quite challenging.
