▼ The outer box is quite large, so we recommend preparing some extra space in advance for storage.

▼ The inner box is a standard kraft carton, tightly packed with all the runners inside — it really gives you that “great value, fully loaded” feeling just by looking at it.

▼ The kit also includes a metal commemorative coin, which can be displayed on the base of the stand.

▼ The assembly manual features a rare landscape-format booklet design.

▼ The instruction manual is printed in full color. At the beginning of each step, the required runners and parts are clearly indicated, allowing builders to quickly locate and assemble the necessary components during the process. Considering the kit focuses on a “large quantity, great value” concept, this kind of manual design is definitely worth promoting.

▼ Lingyao’s inner frame design can be regarded as one of the most impressive works among recent domestic model kits. Although the assembly process is relatively intricate, the tight fit between the POM and ABS parts results in a solid and satisfying final build that truly feels worth the effort.

▼ The entire inner frame features extensive color separation and part segmentation. As a result, the connection ports between the frame and the outer armor are not overly noticeable, while also enhancing the overall visual appeal of the inner frame itself.

▼ In the inner frame mode, the “lobster-back” structure on the rear waist and the synchronized knee-bending extension mechanism in the legs are both exceptionally beautiful and visually impressive.

▼ The hip joints feature a drop-down locking mechanism, which is very user-friendly for those who enjoy posing and dynamic displays.

▼ Even without the outer armor attached, the overall articulation performance is already quite impressive.

▼ Personally, I think the best display option for this kit is to keep it in its inner frame form and add only half of the transparent armor.

▼ All of the weapons can be mounted and displayed together on the base and stand in one complete setup, which is one of the core display concepts this kit is designed to showcase.

▼ The main body stands approximately 23.5cm tall. With the first layer of armor equipped, the overall silhouette feels lean and well-built. The armor is composed of dark navy blue and grey-white tones, which contrast beautifully with the exposed gold inner frame, creating a subtle yet luxurious visual effect. From a color coordination perspective, this combination cleverly reduces any sense of bulk in the body design and refines the overall silhouette, giving it a sharper and more streamlined appearance.

▼ After equipping the outer armor, the shoulder joints will trigger a linkage with the back armor when pulled forward. When the elbows are fully bent, the elbow armor will also deploy through a linked mechanism.

▼ The gold decorative parts on the wrists can be reinforced slightly to prevent them from popping off during handling.

▼ The waist articulation remains largely the same as in the inner frame state, and the spine on the back still features the same linkage mechanism.

▼ Each individual skirt armor plate can be lifted. The side and rear skirt armors are connected via C-clips, which can be detached when you need to unlock a wider range of leg articulation.

▼ After equipping the outer armor, the legs take on a more refined, sculpted silhouette with enhanced curvature. The interplay between the dark navy armor and the exposed gold inner frame details creates a striking contrast that’s truly worth appreciating.

▼ After adding the outer armor, the leg linkage mechanism is expressed through the split-opening effect of the translucent blue armor panels.

▼ The display stand features common mechanisms such as joint locks, extension, and height adjustment. It also includes three 3mm ports on each side, which will likely be used for mounting remote weapons or funnel-type equipment in future releases.

▼ The “Escort” battle armor can be hung on the rack-like support, and this part of the design gives off a distinct manta ray–like vibe.

▼ Once the battle armor is combined with the main body, it forms “Lingyao’s” final configuration. This design clearly pays homage to the image of an ancient escort warrior.

▼ With the addition of the small cape and skirt armor, the upper body armor gains more volume, balancing the proportions between the upper and lower body. It even adds a subtle sense of mystery to the overall look. Personally, I think it’s a very well-executed design.

▼ Hidden inside the small cape are miniature throwing darts, though they are rarely meant to be displayed in hand.

▼ Both the front and back sides of the rear skirt armor feature very rich detailing. If an additional connector were included to transform it into a shield, I think it would make the design even more interesting.

▼ Each side skirt armor can store two high-energy nano-printed Yanling blades. Paired with dual-wielding the swords, you can recreate a four-blade combat stance.

▼ The small thrusters on the back feature a linked deployment mechanism.

▼ The headgear design is inspired by the traditional hat worn by ancient escorts, but after being mechanized, it gives off a visual impression similar to a manta ray.
