rico soul: Finally review samples have been sent out and it's sounding real positive. Hemoxian pushed back the schedule a bit to improve the plastic injection quality which I'm all for.

The final product seems to be quite the impressive model kit for a very affordable price.

For anyone wondering, the cape is cloth with a wired border to make it very posable. A lot of the model is undergated for clean nubs and can be easily painted on the runners. It even includes a foldout carboard backdrop that can be used for photos and displays. Overall seems like a fantastic end product.

rico soul: It's kind of amusing that sites are already posting up preorders for this backpack kit for the Nebula before any product photos are confirmed. These renders are actually screenshots from the game.

In case people are confused, this is essentially a high maneuverability backpack for the Nebula model kit. Think of it as something similar to the Manuverability Striker pack and the Raijin Striker pack for the Eclipse Gundam.

The Nebula is a pretty solid model kit so it will be interesting to see how it turns out with this pack

rico soul: It was a painting service, not an official release. It's common in China to have painting services that will just spray the runners for you. That was mostly to show how well the undergating behaves if someone decides to just spray the runners.

rico soul: It's interesting that Supernova is releasing this under the ZA Model name rather than SNAA.

ZA model before has only released Zoids knockoffs like the upscaled Zoids Aggressive Ligers, the HMM Berserk Fury / Sturm Tyrann, and the upscaled HMM Death Stinger. Supernova had Gundam Wing knockoffs on their main brand, and the SNAA branch had an original design with the Hunt and Kill. So it would have made more sense to release this under SNAA but what do I know lol.

This was really a pretty odd announcement anyways since all we got was a short phone clip from ZA Model showing the completed model kit. No concept art, no promo material, no nothing.

The excessive use of clear parts makes this look like a build fighters Wing Zero or something with kind of an Astraea head and a Barbatos V-Fin. I'm assuming it will have a backpack that's not shown yet, but honestly I'm not super sold on the design. Will wait to see if they release more details on this

rico soul: Finally we get the new photos for the Optimus Primal kit. Looks like there's two different face plates but overall I like the way this looks. Granted, we really only have a good look of Primal in alt mode from the trailers so far so it's hard to say how accurate this is.

rico soul: Ah yes, turtle neck and a trench coat, first things that comes to mind when i think of spiderman lol.

Spiderman Noir has such an interesting premise and great designs. Somehow having this in classic spiderman colors still just works.

rico soul: So people have already started getting early review samples.

IMPORTANT NOTE: these AMK series model kits is that they are not really model kits. Yolopark called them partially preassembled model kits but from the picture we see of the packaging, this looks to be much more of a figure than a model kit. It's pre-painted, and some assembly requires but it's definitely more something that should interest figure collectors rather than model kit builders.

All three are priced the same so Bumblebee being the smallest seems to be the least interesting value wise. Seeing more photos of him makes him look a bit better than just the initial promo photos from Yolopark though.

rico soul: Another excellent figure from MoShow. I personally really love this more european knight inspired design so this is probably the best looking progenitor figure out of the ones released so far.

The LED gimmicks on this is less complex than the WuChengHou so MoShow priced it lower accordingly. The LEDs are only on the shoulder pauldrons, the head, and the lance.

This Lancelot has an armor hatch opening gimmick similar to the MG Nu Ver Ka and the underlying metallic teal makes it look a bit like psycho frame as well. But overall, the effect is pretty subtle, but it's still neat overall.

The weapons it comes with is a lance and a sword and shield and it all looks properly fitting for the Knight of the Lake.

rico soul: Man I would have loved one of these as a kid. It even has a functioning scope and projectile.

I wonder how the fit and finish on these mould king kits compare to Lego kits. I may need to start looking into them some more.
