The angry face is a bit iffy but the normal sculpt looks great.

Also that pregnant accessory had me cracking up.

rico soul: eh.....i don't know about this electro. I mean I guess I was never really a fan of the movie electro to begin with but both the electricity effect parts and the general skin tone treatment of this looks kind of off to me.

The effect parts aren't really jagged and uneven enough  and look more like ice than electricity. Add the blue skin tone and this is looking more like Mr. Freeze.

The fluorescence is a nice and much needed touch but overall, this just isn't doing it for me.

Joking aside, I'm not too sold on this figure, especially at that price tag. The way the face is painted just doesn't look right. It's like they made her eyes to angled and made her face too long.

Her forehead is definitely not big enough. This is good ol' billboard brow we're talking here after all.

rico soul: Hiya Toys with yet another color variation of their Godizilla figure. I get it, they have a really good Godzilla mold but seriously it feels like this is the only thing they ever make and it's getting kind of old lol.

I have to admit though, it does still look fantastic.

rico soul: eh....the proportions just look wrong on this. I guess it's really difficult to make a good body suit look but everything from the hip down just doesn't really look right. It feels like her legs are too short. The head sculpt is also a bit questionable.

Storm Toys seems to do a great job with the male fighting game characters, but they struggle with the female form.

rico soul: The main topic of discussion since the BaiQi reveal has been a bit of disappointment in how they removed the dragon transformation of the old metal build. I'll attach the photos of the metal build here so you can compare.

With these model kit adaptations, MotorNuclear has been updating but still mostly keeping the key elements from the previous metal build like AoBing with the dragon and CaoRen with the phoenix transformation.

With this BaiQi, they removed the twin swords and the dragon transformation and instead replaced it with the strike freedom style dragoons on the wings. On the one hand, I like the change for making the suit more unique but I think everyone is a bit burned out by dragoons and funnels at this point with almost every third party kit doing them. Also, the lack of the dragon transformation makes the claws on the arms and legs just kind of unnecessary decoration.

There is actually some updates to the inner frame as well for some more connected armor sliding movements

Joseth30: So the gimmick in this one would be the strike freedom type funnels? The transformation would have aligned more with this plastic model series considering Ao Bing had a dragon companion and Cao Ren could transform, I really like this design but we should have gotten something more creative or something that really accompanies the main figure.

rico soul: yeah, the gimmick for this one is the funnels and effect parts. It would have been creative if it didn't feel so overdone this year with the sky defender, the trailblazer, and the apocalypse all having the same exact gimmick with wing funnels that can also be used as swords. It doesn't help that a lot of MotorNuclear fans were also looking forward to seeing the BaiQi dragon transformation.

rico soul: I always find it kind of amusing that SOSKILL is known for their girl model kits...and the crazy detailed transformers model kits. Like they're so different in their execution, even if the fanbase overlaps quite a bit.

Well, at least we know they are good at what they do. Lets see how this Hatsune Miku actually turns out

rico soul: Moshow released promo photos for the prototype grey model for this figure and honestly I'm not liking it as much as the original concept art.

The main mecha body looks fine but the wings look a bit funky. We'll have to see how this one develops.
