rico soul: interestingly enough, while the style of these wings of light effect parts certainly mimic the original metal build parts, this does seem to be less of a direct rip when compared to the point factory version.

The dragoon effect parts I think are a rip of the HG effects just enlarged. This could be an interesting package for displaying the MGEX but honestly, I think I prefer mine just as is without the effect parts.

I know people mentioned concerns about the weight of the point factory parts and the stress that applies on the MGEX wings, which may not be designed to be able to support these things long term. From the looks of these DDB ones, I doubt that issue would be any better here.

It's a good option to have for people that want to display their MGEX this way I suppose. DDB effect parts have historically been relatively solid.

rico soul: You know, I like the frame arms girl and the frame arms looking mech both standalone, but the exosuit mode looks a bit odd to me.

The Tnak mode looks good, but yeah, having the girl just sit in the middle of the exo-suit without any additional chest armor just looks really flimsy.

rico soul: The manufacturer answered some quick questions about the kit and released another front view of the darkened teaser render. So of course people just brightened it. Original and brightened images attached.

Regarding the model kit:
- Currently there are no plans to include LEDs with the kit
- Partial alloy inner frame (Metal + POM)
- First print bonus will be announced later
- Scheduled for a Q4 release
- Price not finalized but is likely somewhere around 200RMB
- Weapons and accessories will be announced later but will at least have some close range weapons (the comment was poking fun a bit at the Genesis and Ruling which both have been meme'd in China for only having ranged weapons)

rico soul: I kind of want to talk about how I don't like how plain this Dr. Fate's jumpsuit looks but honestly I haven't seen the movie so I can't really comment on whether it's accurate lol.

The Rock as Black Adam just didn't really seem like a great movie.

The sculpt of the head and helmet on this at least looks pretty legit so I'd guess fans of DC movies would enjoy this figure

rico soul: FlameToys Kuro Kara Kuri to me is like the Metal Build of transformers and sort of the peak of die cast frame figure design for me. Tarn is also just a badass looking robot so this is one of my favorite transformers figures aesthetically.

MC has always made good knockoffs and their MuscleBear transformers KOs are also pretty solid it quality historically and the change in paint finish is usually something I prefer over the original. This electroplated finish looks absolutely awesome and is a fantastic alternative to the original at a more appealing price point.

rico soul: This combines a lot of things I like.

0083 stardust memories is one mf my favorite gundam shows but there model kits are all old and lacking so it's nice to see detailed third party resin kits.

Full Armor configurations for gundams are also one of my favorite classic designs so it's amazing to see it here with the GP01FA

rico soul: Hmm...I'm not too familiar with this resin kit, but this is obviously the ZZ, not the FAZZ. Considering the base kit is the same anyways, I'm pretty sure this should work with the ZZ Ver Ka and shouldn't require the FAZZ Ver Ka.

ZZ Ver Ka is a lot easier to come by than the FAZZ after all
