rico soul: Man this is probably one of my grails. One day I will have the sufficient skills to actually tackle building and painting one of these kits. Or maybe one day Bandai will finally make a MG Kshatriya. We'll see what happens first.
rico soul: I really like this design over the Date Masamune or the Takeda Shinden. This feel much more like original designs where as the previous two feels more like modified Gundams. Moshow's metal build quality is well established so it's nice to see some more creative takes on giant mecha.
rico soul: It's interesting to see both CangDao and MotorNuclear make models based on Chinese culture and mythology, but I honestly find both a bit too busy. The CangDao designs feel much more oriental whereas the MotorNuclear stuff tends to be just spiky gundams, but both are just a bit too much.
At a glance, this just looks like a blob of red with two floating face shield things. Only looking closer can you even tell it's asura arms and weapons. It's just too busy.
rico soul: I wonder how well this builds on top of the recently posted Daban 3302 FAZZ. Might be a bit too much of a challenge to tackle a GK and a bootleg but could be an interesting experience.
rico soul: oh interesting, a flexible snake stand. This is definitely designed for small figures rather than gundam model kits but I wonder how much weight it can reasonably support and hold steady.
