rico soul: This is an awesome kit but I should clarify that it is technically more 1/144 scale than 1/100 scale. This is essentially the Metal Build 1/100 Hi-Nu hyper bazooka, scaled down to 1/144 with additional aesthetic modifications. However, since it supposed to be a massive gun for the RG Hi-Nu, you can give it to a 1/100 scale MG gundam and probably be fine.

It comes with a pretty sweet LED and spinning motor gimmick. They are powered by a usb rechargeable battery but it seems that there is no termination circuit to stop charging when the battery is full, so BE CAREFUL not to over charge and damage the battery.

Sadly, Gundamit's price inflation is a bit much lately. This weapon kit is 99RMB retail and should be a relatively small box, so asking a higher price than some model kits for it really feels like a slap in the face. I'm probably going to hold out for a sale or look for alternatives.

rico soul: So we have the price revealed on this. 199rmb with a release date of April 2024.

This puts it in the same pricing as MotorNuclear kits like the BaiQi or CaoRen with their metal frame.
We still don't know what the box size is on this yet so the final international shipped price is still a bit up in the air but I doubt it will be a larger box than the AoBing or much smaller than the CaoRen or BaiQi so we should be looking at $60-75 USD

Personally, I'm not super interested in this kit since Zaoworkshop's first kit the Redeem was kind of mediocre, but this does look to be a much higher quality design with the alloy frame, and at least the rendered details on the long range gun and the numerous hatch openings on the armor.

The head really looks a lot like the recent SNAA blade king to me and that transformation with the head just poking out looks a bit silly but the heavily Gaplant inspired design I'm sure is going to be a hit with AoZ fans.

rico soul: Sunday Hobby is just all over the place with their collabs lol. This seems to be yet another design with another model kit company. As far as I can tell, Dragon Spider is also a new model kit brand so I have no clue who's behind them.

This is supposed to be a Vampire inspired design and honestly the silhouette gives me Darkstalkers vibes.

Dragon Spider actually posted a different silhouette that I'll attach here. Seems like maybe there's some kind of awakened gimmick with additional armament or something.

Interesting concept but honestly I kind of wish Sunday Hobby would just get one of their model kits released instead of just posting a bunch of concept art with no actual products yet lol.

rico soul: Lmao, ok so initial reviews of this kit had pretty much two major criticisms.
1. it doesn't come with an display base, despite having the mobile armor transformation as a main gimmick
2. the big rifle does no have a grip for it hold and use in mecha mode, it's pretty much only intended for MA mode

Zao received heavy criticism from consumers as well with lots of people canceling their preorders.

Well, under all that pressure, Zao just announced that they will add a display base and rework the rifle to address these issues lol. I guess the good news is that this will be fixed for mass production.

Anyways, here's the updated photos. Other than those two issue, the figure itself seems to be pretty solid.

Articulation wise, it may be worth noting that the waist has no rotation or articulation because it has to support the transformation. Otherwise, things work well and the metal frame keeps it balanced for standing poses.

rico soul: The clear NeZha is kind of a bit of a mixed bag for me. The focus on these seems to be more with special finishes and polarized coatings on the kit, which should look cool for people interested in it. Unlike the AoBing claer version or the BaiQi special coating version, this doesn't come with a new weapon. Instead, it just comes with some additional flame spear effect parts.

- some color changes on the transparent armor
- prepainted metallic colored inner frame
- polarized color shifting coating on the purple red halo effect part
- 3 added flame spear effect parts

retail price: 299RMB

rico soul: I'm really quite impressed with the way this model kit turns out. I was not interested in the Red Ogre at all but this Tengu with the collaboration with Sunday Hobby has a much more aesthetic and proportional design in my eyes. Reviews of the kit are positive and the quality is overall excellent.

That said....like the Red Ogre, this is supposed to be a lower priced high value kit, with a msrp of 188RMB. And also like the Red Ogre, it seems that Gundamit has chosen to over inflate the price here, and unfortunately unlike other inflated prices recently, I don't see a seamail shipping option to reduce the price back down to fair levels.

Kind of unfortunate for those that wanted to purchase this through gundamit.

I remember there was actually a leak about Bandai possibly coming out with a MG reborns gundam in the near future as well, so it will be interesting to see what happens to this product if that becomes true.

Well, I guess until we see the colors revealed for the Adonis, we can't call it the Reborns Gundam just quite yet. But I mean come, on, it's obviously what it is lol

rico soul: This is the full accersory set rather than just the clear inner frame, and the retail price is announced as 190RMB.

Initially, the announcements only included the red and orange Deep Striker arm, which made it really only match the red or the orange color versions of the 1/60 EX-S. Dwarf Workshop has since remedied that after community backlash and will also include a blue version of the kit. The radome accessory for the deep striker has also been enhanced with a more detailed version.

As you can see from the pictures, the accessory set includes the clear inner frame with led lamps, three stands, and all the parts and accessories to build the deep striker and the g-cruiser. What may not be obvious is that this actually allows you to build and display all three versions together like the photo shows.

The clear inner frame combines with the clear outer armor bonus from the 1/60 EX-S base kit to be able to built the full clear EX-S. Deep Striker accessories will be able to convert the base EX-S into the Deep Striker as shown in the picture. Parts removed from the base EX-S can then be combined with the remaining accessories and base to display the g-cruiser space ship mode.

pretty sweet deal even if it isn't a traditional articulated model kit.

rico soul: This looks to be based on the SH Studio x GM Dream MGSD Meteor resin kit. If you look at the proportions, while the promo shows that this kit can fit the 1/144 hg kits, it's really not quite the right look compared to the hg meteor unit.

However, since the Bandai HG meteor is so old and this has more gimmicks with the LEDs, this may still be a good option for people that want to use it with hg. Personally I'm gonna stick with the MGSD Freedom that the original resin kit was designed for.

In any case, have this converted to a 199RMB plastic kit is a great deal for people. Lets just hope the price here on gundamit turns out fair.

rico soul: I guess the cyberpunk aesthetics of PROJECT Ashe skin really fits in well with the type of stuff we love here. Even for people that aren't LoL fans, this is a sweet figure to just collect and display.

Comes with alternate hands, an alternate head, and some effect parts. A neat little package for a solid price considering it's an officially licensed product.
