rico soul: This Ninja styled figure is really quite interesting since it's apparently some kind of collab with the singer Jay Chou. So the decals have a bit of a pop idol aesthetic while the overall figure is very much a Ninja mech. The little chibi Jay Chou ninja figure is also pretty adorable.

The stingray flight unit backpack also works quite nicely but I think the coolest thing about this figure has to be in the overall presentation. The manual is held in a scroll case and can even be mounted on the back of the figure Naruto style lol.

rico soul: CangDao put up a couple pictures from the 2023 Shenzhen Toy Fair where they had a prototype for this Kainar figure on display along with other upcoming products.

It's interesting to see that they showed two versions of the Dussack, one that the base suit and one with all the heavy armor. I'm not sure if this is the same product or whether these will be two separate releases. Both looks good though.

I'm assuming for now that it's an equippable armor gimmick for the figure to change into the Dussack Full Armor.

rico soul: Moshow released promo photos and a grey model for this model kit and it's looking great. This was my favorite design out of this product line and I'm really excited to see how a high quality brand like Moshow tackles the alloy frame model kit.

Looks like they renamed the product to guardsman which I guess is a bit more fitting than butcher but not nearly as badass lol

rico soul: It's worth noting that there isn't any information released about the funnel expansion kit as far as I know. The manufacturer just confirmed that yes they will be able to release an expansion kit after the apocalypse model kit is released due to consumer feedback.

Obviously we can see this was likely planned since the previous promo they released that detailed the backpack and funnels already showed more than the 8 funnels that was going to be released with the base model kit. All of the more unique gimmicks of this model kit seems to be focused around the funnels.

Will still need to wait for what the expansion kit will include.

The chest and neck look real funky to me and obviously the level of detail is going to be lower than their previous larger scale optimus. Still I guess this seems to be fairly posable.

I'm more excited to see how primal turns out.

Ok so I finally found out what Yolopark meant by this AMK series being a partially preassembled model kit. Originally I ignored that thinking it was maybe just some preassembled inner frames but it looks like it's more akin to a figure than a traditional model kit. There is some minimal assembly involved but there are no runners or anything to actually cut out. Just that you will need to snap the pieces together when you get it.

rico soul: This is actually a pretty awesome bootleg all and all considered. The blue Slash Zaku first run had some shoulder joint breaking issues that the manufacturer has supposedly addressed with this next release of the Blaze Zaku Warrior.

Both this and the green Gunner Zaku comes with an alternate shoulder armor to convert to the standard single shield Zaku, which is a nice bonus too. Overall, it's just a very solid KO package for an otherwise pbandai only kit.

rico soul: Here comes another alloy frame model kit that's under 2000RMB. These 3rd party kits are really blowing up this year.

All we know so far is:
- 1/100 model kit
- partially preassembled alloy inner frame
- Priced at under 200 RMB (so likely around $60USD or lower here)
- July-August Release date

This reminds me of the Aile Strike or Force Impulse with that backpack. With the release date being so soon, this much be pretty far along so I'm sure we'll get more information soon.

rico soul: So it's nice to see this get another reprint so soon, but I'm still waiting on the legendary Dragon Momoko Akatsuki or Astray Blue Frame 3rd.

As for this Astray Out Frame D, it was a neat design before Bandai released their P-Bandai Astray Out Frame D earlier this year. The DM Out Frame did come first and is more or less an original design leveraging bootlegged designs from Bandai. The P-Bandai Out Frame D similarly reuses their own Astray and Strike parts along with new parts so this isn't much different.

I guess it really comes down to availability and personal preference. The P-Bandai Out Frame D retails for a similar price in the US so that makes the price on the dragon momoko seem a bit high now, but with it being p-bandai, availability is going to be a concern.

Aesthetics wise, DM is going to have a more resin kit like design with longer legs and more panel lines whereas Bandai looks very much like what we would expect from Bandai with a fairly clean look. Fit and finish is of course going to be better for Bandai.

rico soul: Here's some of the latest updated photos.

We still haven't gotten any updates on accessories and bonuses for the kit yet.

The manufacturer has said is that the color will be primarily white, with some smoke clear outer armor parts exposing and grey inner frame. We can pretty much see that for ourselves from the pictures.

The estimated release date is this month, December 2023, which seems reasonable given that these are photos of a finished product. I guess we should be getting more information very quickly on the accessories and additional contents of the kit.
