rico soul: So it's kind of neat that we get more detailed announcements so quickly after the initial reveal. Now it's only everyone would do that (looking at you sky defender >.>)

lol, anyways, here's the details released so far:

head height: 19cm
full height with backpack: 26cm

This is a new manufacturer and they list this as the first product from a line named nostalgia.....
Obvious we recognize this as the very popular Stargazer gundam that never got an MG release from Bandai. So the name makes me wonder what else SuperModel has planned. Maybe we'll see a MG Kshatriya finally lol.

Being a new manufacturer, they emphasized that they will be putting in a lot of effort into ensuring the quality of the mold and fit and finish of the model. This is good to hear. The model is all plastic with plans to have a more matte armor finish to give it almost a painted look. Some parts will also be prepainted, likely the gold parts we see in the photos.

An exact price has not been announced yet, just that it will be under 200RMB. Likely this means 199RMB and will be inline with kits like the Motor Nuclear CaoRen. I'm looking forward to finding out more updates on this.

rico soul: So the name may be misleading but if I'm not mistaken, this was a metal build style figure released back in 2019, NOT A MODEL KIT.

I guess it reprinted? This is a pretty neat figure. I do really like the style oriental armored solider style without relying too much on gundam like designs. Love the style of this.

The paint finishes on the figure from 4 years ago was pretty solid and contrasted well between the matte blue and the metallic colors. The one issue I remember being mentioned though was that like many other styles from back then, this is really really spikey so it can be a bit difficult to actually pose and play with.
