rico soul: lol I didn't really expect TCE to be back with another model kit. Silhouette looks like a strike freedom with oversized wings. I'm not very optimistic about how this will end up looking but I'll keep an eye on it for more information

rico soul: The GM Spatan really does look so good in desert colors. The XFS bootleg of the GM Spartan is a decent mold and one I prefer over the JMS mold so it's nice that theirs is the one getting the desert color treatment.

However, there is another brand AK that is also bootlegging the HG GM Spartan and they have the best quality mold by far it seems. I kind on want to wait and see if they also make a desert variation later on.

Jukeboxer: It's crazy to me that you are claiming you prefer XF over JMS. I guarantee you don't even have both of them to compare. Rico and talking like an expert about things he doesn't actually know about, name a better duo.

rico soul: lol bro, your arguments would be a lot more convincing if you actually back them up with specific comparisons instead of just personal attacks. JMS and XFS honestly are pretty comparable at the end of the day, I just prefer the XFS one. JMS is a slightly tougher/tighter assemble with shallower and duller molded details. XFS molded details are a bit sharper and the build is a bit smoother. Now to give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you are confusing AK with JMS, since both are similar green boxes with lineart. One easy way to tell is AK comes with a GM sniper II rifle. AK is the only one of the three that is unquestionably better in every aspect, and as close to the Bandai original as one could get. Sharp details, great assembly, and extra weapons. AK runners are actually not even a direct copy of Bandai's and looks like they may have copied parts individually in CAD. You'll also see some places list the AK version as EW but I don't know if that is just a typo or if it's actually EW behind it. The only downside for AK is it's pricier. None of this is even a particularly unique or hot take by me, there are numerous comparisons of these three and it's well acknowledged by literally just about everyone that AK > XFS >= JMS
