Shipping time is expected to be early June.

In China, they are offering an initial preorder price of 288RMB, claiming that standard retail price will go up to 388RMB after release.

One of the US stores have mentioned that they estimate a local US price of $75

We'll have to see how things go here on gundamit. The kit itself looks to be about the same as the initial test print.
With the 1/35 scale, it's about 52cm or 20inches tall. Should be quite the big boy.

Exceed Head, maybe a UC Hardgraph bootleg core fighter, LEDs and aesthetic design elements from the ver ka RX-78-2 added to the GTO. Should be an interesting kit for people that have the space for it.

rico soul: So Special Forces Industry revealed the additional details of this kit, a so-called heavy bombardment type.
The idea is an artillery fire support equipment loadout that is added on top of the base unit.

The main part of this is the double cannons that are attached to the backpack
Two shields are mounted of moveable arms that attach to the backpack
Additional thrusters are added to the legs to help add mobility to offset the heavier equipment
Missile launchers are added to the arms and and an additional rifle is added.
Finally a different head is provided

In practice, it's essentially just a bunch of additional equipment that can be configured however you want when you build this, which is a neat concept but personally, I kind of feel like the proportions are a bit too large on the cannons and the whole thing just looks kind of imbalanced. Of course, you can simply choose not to build it with the added cannons. I still would have preferred a more GM like head rather than this more gundam looking head.

The initial bonus has also been announced as an added set of beam saber effects parts that are prepainted with UV reactive paint so that they can glow under a blacklight.

rico soul: So we have the first update on the development on this manta ray thunderbolt.
These are the 3D model designs based on the original competition custom build that was seen in the initial pictures, for all the components that will need to be newly designed for this kit.

We can see the specific parts that will differ from the base thunderbolt will be the head, the shoulder armor, the rifle and shield, and of course the manta backpack.

Additional information will of course be released in the future.

One thing I'm personally interested in finding out is whether they will try to recreate the custom paint job of the competition build, especially the two tone body that is purely done with painting and masking of the original mold.

rico soul: The updates continue for this and we are getting some interesting information this time.

- Retail price confirmed to be the same as the original Thunderbolt at 198RMB

- New trident weapon reveals as a sort of preorder goal in China. This will likely be met so we can just think of it as a new weapon confirmed for the Manta Thunderbolt

- New CG renders for many of the new parts for this kit. There's a couple interesting things we can take away from the renders. As stated before, IN ERA+ is adding additional surface detail to this model kit version and we can see that reflected in the renders. We can assume the parts shown are all color separated which is looking nice. The asymmetrical shoulder armor colors is also shown so we can likely assume that the shoulder armor will be molded in both colors, and likely the same will happen for the front skirt.

However, the CG renders did not show anything in regards to the asymmetrical coloring on the chest armor. In the original Thunderbolt, this was not an asymmetrical piece and the colors we see in the demo model was purely painted since it still used the original Thunderbolt chest armor. It will be interesting to see what IN ERA+ does with this portion of the design

rico soul: I was waiting to see if more information was going to be released on this kit from MotorNuclear but it doesn't look like it now that their brand week is over. Oh well, we still have a fair amount of details from the promo videos so far:

From the videos, we see all the cool articulation and gimmicks this kit has
we also have some size and pricing details:

- head height 22cm
- total height with backpack 35cm
- width with backpack 52cm
- retail price 199RMB
- alloy skeleton

Pretty standard Motor Nuclear stuff but this looks to have a ton of interesting gimmicks with the weapons and forms the backpack can take. Not to mention this aesthetic style is a large departure from typical Motor Nuclear designs.

It also looks like this is one of several products that contains parts to combine into some kind of giant mobile armor. Motor Nuclear is really cooking.

No release date yet that I can see but Motor Nuclear is already taking preorders so hopefully it's coming out soon. This one looks pretty fun and exicitng.

rico soul: This design from ZeroPlan should be a plastic kit similar to all of their previous replacement heads, but it very much looks to be inspired by existing giant claw resin kit for the MGSD Barbatos.

Still cool though. Should be much easier to work with than resin kits that you would have to paint.

rico soul: For people that may be confused by what this is, you have to understand that the base kit of the dwarf workshop 1/60 EX-S statue comes with a bonus set of clear armor. This simple clear inner frame accessory kit would allow those have have bought the base kit to be able to build a full clear 1/60 EX-S as well as the regular EX-S.

This is only intended as an add-on at a relatively low price of 90RMB.
THIS IS NOT A STANDALONE KIT.

Hobby Mio Desktop Cleaner Vacuum [Comment]

rico soul: I have a more generic branded one of these and it works pretty well as a desk vacuum for sanding dust and nubs. The hobby mio one here is a bit more expensive but the same conceptually. If I didn't already have an ODISTAR desk vacuum, I may have been tempted to pickup this one just for the aesthetics.

This should be an excellent tool for people that don't have a desk vacuum.
