MoShow 1/72 MCT-E02 Progenitor Effect Lancelot of the Lake
rico soul: Another excellent figure from MoShow. I personally really love this more european knight inspired design so this is probably the best looking progenitor figure out of the ones released so far.

The LED gimmicks on this is less complex than the WuChengHou so MoShow priced it lower accordingly. The LEDs are only on the shoulder pauldrons, the head, and the lance.

This Lancelot has an armor hatch opening gimmick similar to the MG Nu Ver Ka and the underlying metallic teal makes it look a bit like psycho frame as well. But overall, the effect is pretty subtle, but it's still neat overall.

The weapons it comes with is a lance and a sword and shield and it all looks properly fitting for the Knight of the Lake.
[Pre-Order] Orange Cat Industry Blaster Tekkaman Blade Model Kit
rico soul: Like their previous Tekkaman blade model kit, orange cat isn't going for complete anime accuracy with the Blaster Tekkaman and has some redesigns. I think the bulkier nature of the Blaster Tekkaman form just works out a lot better for the sleek redesign that orange cat has taken.

Plus orange cat quality has improved by leaps and bounds from when they first released the Tekkaman Blade model kit so this is probably gonna be a really good kit.

Something interesting regarding this is the pricing. Base price is 278RMB which is a bit on the higher side for a full plastic model kit, but part of that could be due to licensing costs. However, Orange Cat is doing the promo where they are lowering the pre-order price based on the number of units pre-ordered, down to a whooping 118 RMB with 50k pre-orders which they should easily be able to hit.

I wonder if any of that will translate to Gundamit pricing.
Daban 1/100 6642-NT MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex Model Kit
rico soul: This is kind of an interesting product as a color swap of the MG Phenex NT from gold to this sort of dark blue plated look. Daban advertised it as black chrome but obviously even from the pictures we can see it's more of a bluish purplish tone.

Now Bandai's original MG Unicorn/Phenex mold isn't the greatest to begin with. It's a very old kit and so a lot of the engineering do show it's age. Daban's bootleg will of course have more problems. Still, this is an interesting and fairly unique look for an Phenex NT so for those interested in it, it's not a bad display piece for the price, considering it's a plated kit.

Now the plating quality is fairly average daban and so the paint is uneven, there going to be imperfections in the plating due to dust and other particulates, and even some orange peel in the paint. Flash and shrinkage are also present as usual with Daban, which are further exacerbated by being a plated kit. This all comes with the territory.

Some other things worth noting:
- the original dark blue parts like the backpack and feet are not plated or painted
- the plastic underneath the plating is dark grey and there are places where the armor is not undergated and nub marks will be visible
- being a plated kit, it's kind of a fingerprint and dust magnet
- the psycho frame is a semi matte more purplish tone clear plastic and is not blacklight/UV reactive

Overall it's all within expectations for Daban and priced accordingly. Like many things Daban, it looks good from far away but doesn't hold up as well when looking at the details. At $50, it's still a decent kit for Unicorn fans and people that like this somewhat unique color scheme.
Wanxiangjubian Model 1/100 MG Tactical Machine Apocalypse Model Kit
rico soul: Hmmm, seems like Gundamit hasn't kept up with the latest photo updates for this. Unlike some of the other guys, Vientiane Fusion really likes providing updates on everything. It's nice to see but I also don't want to be just spamming the comments section here with photos everytime they release them lol.

Well, anyways, here's the official finalized prototype grey model photos released at the end of July. They've tweaked the proportions a bit here and I think it looks good. I especially like the stargazer gundam look with just the ring. They've confirmed that this will be the final look and no further changes to the design are planned.

The latest update from them this month was to show a photo of the metal frame and POM parts. This is still just raw metal but will be plated a gunmetal color for the final product.
[Pre-Order] Point Factory CS-031 Shadow Hunters Metal Build Model Kit
rico soul: Minor update from point factory with an updated render. This looks much better now that there's some actual surface detail and panel lines. This is certainly getting me a bit more interested.
IN ERA+ PMD Aurora Model Kit /w Metal Frame
rico soul: Here are the latest colored renders of this kit, named Aurora in English.

Seems to be a nice and clean design. Doesn't seem to have a huge backpack like all of the previous IN Era kits
[Coming Soon] Nuclear Power MG HN Universal Model Backpack Model Kit Red Version
rico soul: This thing is neat and all but it's a bit too massive for my tastes. There's a ton of detail on the backpack and overall the build quality is good according to reviews but since it's sized for something like the MG Sazabi, it's way too large for most MGs.

Kind of works well for the China kits though like the Motor Nuclear kits or In ERA+.
Ming Jiang Legend & Sunday Hobby Tengu Judge Yijing Model Kit
rico soul: Seems like people aren't fully aware but this is from the same guys that did the Red Ogre.

No price reveal yet but here are some updated designs based on community feedback.
The wings are made larger and the proportions of the body is adjusted.
will come with three face choices

Since this is still in the design phase, it may be a while before it's ready for release and pricing
Qianqu Shang Heavy Electromagnetic Railgun Upgrade Kit Red Version
rico soul: The first version of these railguns sold well so it's nice to see more colors get released and with a lower price tag too.

Qianqushang also made some additional mold enhancements to have more undergating in parts that could use them. Nice addition
Wanxiangjubian Model 1/100 MG Tactical Machine Apocalypse Model Kit
rico soul: We are finally nearing release for this Apocalypse.
Vientianne just recently provided an update with some simple photos of the built model as well as the box.

Box dimensions: 41cm x 33cm x 20cm
It's a pretty decent sized box and comparable to what we've come to expect from similar alloy frame kits like the IN ERA Ruling and Aurora.

The msrp is currently set at 236RMB, and the first shipment are scheduled to get sent out at the end of April.
So in theory this should probably be around $70-80 as a fair price.

Vientianne did also mention that there will be a bonus for the initial prints, but they are not going to tell us what it is.
They're saying that we will need to wait for reviews to find out lol.
