Xingfeng 1/144 HG RGM-79S GM Spartan Model Kit
rico soul: This is a bootleg of the p-bandai HG GM Spartan. The pictures here are painted and detailed so they look better than the actual kit is but overall the quality of this XFS bootleg is actually good by all accounts.

The details are of course not as sharp as the original bandai kit, and theres quite a bit of noticeable shrinkage, but overall, the quality is still acceptable according to reviews. There has been adjustments to make the nubs undergated and the grey armor pieces were made into metallic injection plastic which is ok, but does result in more noticeable flow lines.

Overall, this is a pretty solid KO and at $17, this is an pretty decent price for people to get the GM Spartan. The Original p-bandai price was $26 before tax and shipping and it's a pretty high demand kit so the scalper market is pretty crazy. This KO is a great option for people looking to get their hands on the HG GM Spartan.
Eastern Red 1/144 HG Gundam Rising Freedom Fighter Enlarged Version Model Kit
rico soul: Gundamit didn't copy the image from 998's weibo that actually matters for this kit so now people are confused about it being 1/144 and enlarged. The simple answer is this isn't 1/144. It was never announced as 1/144. It's just an slightly scaled up HG Rising Freedom bootleg.

You can see from the pics that this is going to be the size of a HG Banshee rather than being closer to the size of the HG Zaku normally.

Personally I think it's kind of an odd product to make since it's not enough of an upscale to be interesting like the FangDaJing 1/72 stuff. It's likely somewhere in between 1/144 and 1/100 now.

As far as HG bootlegs goes, no one really knows if the quality on this will even be decent. The XingFeng bootleg of the Rising Freedom is alright (but arguably not worth the $7 you save vs getting the widely available original Bandai release). Just to note, GaoGao also has a HG Rising Freedom bootleg but GaoGao quality is pretty bad and definitely worse than XFS. Gundamit doesn't even carry the GaoGao bootleg (yet) so that's an easy one to stay away from.

This one is just kind of weird. I guess if you're the unique individual looking to a rising freedom to be similar sized to a 1/144 unicorn, this is good?
[Coming Soon] IN ERA+ 1/100 RMD Series Lizard Model Kit
rico soul: The final update for the Lizard was just made by IN Era+.

Retail price has been announced at 288RMB ~40USD. This is quite a bit higher than the other RMD series kit, the Thunderbolt, but still priced cheaper than the metal frame kits like Ruling and Aurora. However, they also announced that due to the large amount of content in this kit, the box will also be a bit bigger, being 65cm x 32cm. This would translate to higher potential shipping and logistics costs so I'd expect $85USD shipped to be a fair price for it. Given the hype around the kit though, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gundamit price it closer to $100.

The other big news is a 5000x limited edition of the kit that will have prepainted runners. Total 14 runners painted, with three different red shades. This doesn't seem like something that we would be able to get here through gundamit since it's only going to go on sale for a short period on September 2nd and September 3rd. It is priced at 80RMB or ~$11USD higher than the normal version at 368RMB

The regular version is set to start shipping in October.

Nothing surprising on the contents at this point. It'll come with all the expected items from In Era+ kits including a stand and waterslide decals.

rico soul: One thing to note, that guys specifically says his videos are not reviews but just product overviews lol. Anyways, all the major reviewers in China all released their video after the In Era announcement. Likely due to contract agreements similar to video games. They just haven't all updated to YouTube yet but all your favorite Youtube China-pla creators should be putting up videos in the next couple of days. Everything's pretty much as good as one would expect from In Era+ from what I can tell. I'm pretty excited. I paint my own kits anyways so the special edition never interested me much, but I wouldn't be completely surprised if they end up opening up the painted version more to everyone later on. Some of the reviewers are even raffling the painted version lol. We'll just have to see if they produce more after the initial limited sale period I guess.
Motor Nuclear MNP-XH05 Zhao Yun Model Kit
rico soul: Was busy when this first showed up on Gundamit so I didn't get a chance to comment on this until now.

I'll go ahead and start with a link to a anime promo video and the live product overview that Motor Nuclear had posted. The video is in Chinese but you can still get a feel for the kit.

anime promo: weibo.com/tv/show/1034:5049964997312557

Product details:
- 126 runners total
- the entire model kit size is enlarged by roughly 15% compared to previous MNP star general models like the AoBing, as such, the entire metal inner skeleton is fully redesigned as well.
- both horse and zhao yun have a metal inner skeleton as expected. Zhao Yun weighs around 450g and the Horse is around total combined weight >1600g

I think there the new inner frame is probably going to be

Also to address some of the questions I see from people in the comments.

- Price: In China the MSRP is set at 399 RMB, which is essentially double the price of other star general MotorNuclear kits, which are priced at 199RMB. Gundamit's final price will depend on how much they want to markup for additional profit and shipping costs, which will depend on the final box size. As a rough estimate though, I want to say fair pricing shipped should be around $120-150 USD, but with the increased weight and size and Gundamit's general pricing trend recently, I wouldn't be surprised to see this on here for around $160-200.

- Quality: For people unfamiliar with MN, they are considered one of the best third part brands when it comes to quality vs value, and is also the brand known for having very spiky designs. Their prices in China are significantly lower compared to other third party brands like IN Era. However for that price, they include a functional metal inner frame and partially prepainted parts for color separation. Plastic and build quality are also fairly top notch.

- Premium edition: In the past, every major MNP Star General release has been followed up with a more expensive premium edition that is either fully prepainted or clear colored. Often there are special weapons or effect parts included in the special edition. We can likely expect the same here for Zhao Yun but those are announced closer or after release.

If you are familiar with Dynasty Warriors/Romance of the Three Kingdoms lore, there's also a famous red horse ridden by Guan Yu and Lu Bu. Those are recreated in MotorNuclear's 1/72 Metal Build figure line but I don't believe anything has been announced for the 1/100 Model Kit line yet. Still, I wouldn't be surprised to see a special red version of this horse.

They have just announced some interesting new model kits but no update on their WenZhong Kirin rider that was announced together with this Zhao Yun years ago. Since I don't have any new Zhao Yun images that aren't posted here yet, I'll just leave you guys with the new product photos. The first two, Jihu and Phantom Gift are pretty different designs from typical motor nuclear and I find them very interesting. The third one is a classic GanJiang which came out in SD version earlier this year but have not come out in full model kit form yet.
rico soul: Oops, some typos. Horse is around 1150g so total weight combine is greater than 1600g. The new frame from Zhao Yun is going to likely be used as the basis for all future MNP model kits. There are a lot of considerations made in the frame for both Zhao Yun and the Horse to allow for more natural and anatomically correct poses. For example, there is a special consideration to Zhao Yun's legs to be able to squeeze in and have a natural riding pose. The Horse hip also has a dropping mechanism to allow it to rear up more naturally for that pose.
Hemoxian 1/10 NBD-009 Over Zero Lone Shadow Single Unit Version Model Kit
rico soul: So this should be the individual main body model kit of the Lone Shadow. On the one hand, yay for Gundamit carrying this so the option exists to build the full ninja squad. On the other hand, the price is a bit too high.

This goes for 99RMB msrp and should be probably roughly half the size for the full set kit so the built in shipping and logistics should be cheaper too. This price is probably about 40-50% higher than what I would feel comfortable paying for it but it's still a nice option for the ones interested.

I'll attach the image that breaks down the different packages again. The full set includes everything in the image, including the effect parts 16 and 17 as bonuses.

This individual main body should only include what's boxed in orange, which does include the cape, giant shuriken weapon, and the alternate color armor pieces. You will need the full set or the expansion pack (which I kind of doubt gundamit will carry but who knows) to get the weapons and face masks for the grunt suits.
Daban 1/100 8829 MG Mighty Strike MB Style Model Kit
rico soul: This is quite the interesting bootleg. It's the metal build Strike gundam but without the aile striker pack. The original metal build design actually doesn't allow the perfect strike configuration so maybe that's why aile striker wasn't included. There are parts for it on the runners so obviously daban did bootleg it, just not include it with is a bummer.

On the plus side though, the paint quality on this is some of the best we've ever seen from daban and so it ends up looking pretty decent. The head is still typical daban mess but overall the kit looks pretty good. Unfortunately, this is achieved with a lot of part separation of small parts without properly secure attachments so you really need to glue a lot of things to keep it solid. It should be an interesting build for people since it's really a recast of a figure and the inner frame is that of a metal build figure, not a model kit so the assembly experience is a bit unique.

For the price, I would have liked to see the aile striker get included and/or maybe another weapon stand and atleast some spare battery units that could be built. But it's a good product for people that are fans of metal build bootlegs and the metal build strike. It's not often I get to say good things about daban lol.
YIYA-G 1/120 AMX-004 Q-beley Queen's Vehicle Deluxe Version Model Kit
rico soul: This is a pretty interesting Qubeley kit but it's also a bit odd. The packaged deluxe version comes with the extra armor and backpack, as well as a Haman Karn figure.

The kit itself is pretty much 1/144 scale and uses RockQ's resing statue design, but with added articulation, so it looks pretty nice.
Point Factory Studio MG MSN-04 Sazabi Ver.ka Pre-Assembled
rico soul: This was one of the first Point Factory metal frames and quite good quality when it came out. There were some minor issues with the hip articulation being more limited on the metal frame so I wonder if they improved that.

In any case, the trend now has moved towards pre-assembled frames since manual assembly of these metal frames can be very tiresome due to the tightness required for the POM plastic and metal joints. So it's pretty awesome to see the Sazabi Ver Ka frame come back pre-assembled. The price is....ok I guess. It's a big heavy frame.
Iron Toys 1/100 TC-004 Star Abyss Model Kit Nightfall Version
rico soul: This is heavily based on the Harute final battle from Gundam 00. It's actually kind of funny, this looks to be heavily based on the Haoyu resin kit (photos attached) but Iron Toys is claiming this is their original design and they did not copy anyone.

Regardless, I'm excited to get a Harute model kit and Iron Toys have been really stepping their game up in quality. Hard to say if the final price on this will still remain at a low 199RMB but we'll see. Probably doesn't matter too much for what gundamit ends up pricing this at.

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one.
[Pre-Order] Iron Toys 1/100 TC-006 Star Hell Model Kit
rico soul: Pretty sweet to see Iron Toys reveal three projects at once. The Star Abyss Harute is getting all the hype but these silhouettes teasers are interesting as well.

So far, we have:
- Star Destroyer: based YJL Amazing Exia
- Star Eternal: original body with backpack based on the GNR-000 GN Sefer
- Star Fall: based on various elements from Astraea and 00

- Star Abyss (announced): Harute final battle, looks to be based on the Haoyu resin kit deluxe edition
- Star Create: Seems to be partially based on Kyrios

And this, the Star Hell. People are theorizing that this is based on the Virtue Physical, which I believe is from the 00P prequel manga similar to Astraea. I'm not sure if the legs are quite thick enough but Iron Toys don't really do direct Bandai design copies so it is still a valid theory. Here's some pictures for the Virtue Physical for you to decide.
