rico soul: We finally got an update on this:

- Product is in final development phase and with luck, it should be able to meet the targeted August release date.
- Part count is over 700
- Alloy frame and LED unit included
- Display base included
- Color is still not finalized and TieChunag is taking feedback on it. The render photo is only a preliminary design

So yeah this is looking good. Xingmei is translated directly into Star Destoyer lol
As expected this is heavily based on the YJL Amazing Exia design but the head sculpt is slightly modified to skirt around copyright issues with Bandai.

The grey mold looks great. I'm not completely sold on the proposed white and gold color scheme but we'll have to see how it ends up looking on the physical prototype.

rico soul: So it's kind of neat that we get more detailed announcements so quickly after the initial reveal. Now it's only everyone would do that (looking at you sky defender &gt;.&gt;)

lol, anyways, here's the details released so far:

head height: 19cm
full height with backpack: 26cm

This is a new manufacturer and they list this as the first product from a line named nostalgia.....
Obvious we recognize this as the very popular Stargazer gundam that never got an MG release from Bandai. So the name makes me wonder what else SuperModel has planned. Maybe we'll see a MG Kshatriya finally lol.

Being a new manufacturer, they emphasized that they will be putting in a lot of effort into ensuring the quality of the mold and fit and finish of the model. This is good to hear. The model is all plastic with plans to have a more matte armor finish to give it almost a painted look. Some parts will also be prepainted, likely the gold parts we see in the photos.

An exact price has not been announced yet, just that it will be under 200RMB. Likely this means 199RMB and will be inline with kits like the Motor Nuclear CaoRen. I'm looking forward to finding out more updates on this.

rico soul: So...the photos are are completely misleading. These are fully painted and customized photos, not the actual model kit.

This kit is just a KO copy of the premium bandai Lfrith Jiu model kit. It still has the regular issues with bootlegs, but for the most part, reviews of the kit are very positive, putting it as one of the better quality bootlegs.

rico soul: Another update. They announced the second bonus item for this kit. It's two effect part runners. The effect parts include a streaking blade and muzzle flash. Good for action poses and can be used by both the mechanical dog and the Tastier.

They also tweaked the gun plastic colors to be a bit lighter grey to better match the rest of the model kit

rico soul: We now finally have release photos of the physical model. I have to say I like this better than the renders.
This appears to be a pretty heavy figure all built together too with that metal and POM inner frame.

I wasn't too sure about the gaplant hrairoo with a gundam head kind of design that this oracle was going for but the physical product is looking good.

Still on schedule to release in April for 199rmb. I'm assuming gundamit will update their price soon

rico soul: This rerelease color modification of the qianqushang railgun is aimed at matching the Hi-Nu purple on things like the ver ka kit and the metal build. Just a bit of a review, this is a design based on the metal build 1/100 scale hi-nu mega bazooka, but heavily modified with LEDs added and scaled down to 1/144 scale technically.

Due to the massive size of the bazooka in lore however, this size wise can still fit fine on 1/100 scale and even 1/60 scale gundams and qianqushang provided different handle parts to fit different scale hands.

This updated release will have additional undergating on the parts to help hit nubs for those that want to paint on the runners

rico soul: It's kind of neat that this thing that was announced years ago finally has updates and sale listings in China, confirming it as an actual product.

Chinese price started at 388RMB but is creeping up.

This product is pretty similar to the Eagle Model Force Impulse that came out a bit earlier.
Hell, it's probably the same people, considering this time the brand name is V-Tiger.

Anyways, the kit is a plastic and metal frame version of the YJL Hi-Nu resin kit design.
It says 1/100 but Hi-Nu is a relatively large Gundam and the resin kit makes it even taller so it's probably not much smaller than the Sky Defender.

From the product photos, you can easily see that similar to the Eagle Model plastic-fied YJL Force Impulse, while the molding details of the original resin kit are mostly there, you will still need to mask and paint it to truly get all the intended color separation. The actual part and color separation on the kit is fairly mediocre.

Still, this is a decently anticipated product due to the popularity of the YJL design, and the still relatively easier effort and lower cost to build and paint a plastic kit than the original resin kit.

rico soul: Not quite the same as a MGSD but it's still an interesting take on the idea. The kit builds up nice with the metal frame and has so many swords to play with. Box size is pretty much the same as a WeiYuan and overall quality is as can be expected from MotorNuclear. Fun little desk ornament to play and mess with after you are done assembling it.

MotorNuclear recently announced the regular large GanJiang is planned for the MNP series as well so I'm looking forward to that.

rico soul: This was just announced and while we have a lot of information about it, we also don't really know what style of model kit it really is going to be. What we do know is that it will not truly be a Perfect Grade equivalent since this will not be able to transform into MA mode, meaning it doesn't have the full EX-S functionalities that you would expect from a MG or PG. People are theorizing this will be more like a 1/60 HG similar to the 1/48 scale mega size model kits.

What we don know:
- 1000+ parts
- Plastic model kit based on a resin kit design
- Will have some undisclosed metal parts
- Release target Q1 2025
- First batch bonus: clear armor and spare set of wings
- 348RMB preorder price, 398RMB general release price (so the $129 that gundamit is asking currently is maybe a tad high but that depends on the final box size)

So yeah, interesting product, but people should probably expect it to be more like a 1/60 scale statue than a PG model kit.
