▼ Recently, the new Q version series "MIGHTY DEFORMED" by "Action Toys" has officially released the first wave of the Dinosaur Team - Daishoshin! Even in the Q version style, it combines deformation, combination, and high mobility design. Let's play together today!
▼ Box & Accessories The box packaging image is a real model shot. It can be seen from the logo on the back of the box that it is authorized by the Japanese version of "Dinosaur Team Beast Raiders".
▼ Accessories include five guardian beasts, replacement combined heads, replacement molded hands, dinosaur swords, and stands.
▼ The stand has multiple slots reserved and can be combined with other stands from the series in the future.
▼ Start! Guardian Beasts!
▼ The Tyrannosaurus Rex serves as the core trunk of the combination, with a large volume and multiple movable joints. The Q version head carving gives it a feeling of "ancient beasts", making the whole body cute.
▼ When playing with it, pay attention to the short neck peg of the head carving. It may be more stable if a magnet is embedded at the bottom, right?
▼ The Mammoth's volume is relatively small, with a matte black finish on the head contrasting with the glossy black body.
▼ The tip of the elephant's trunk is movable, and the hind legs can swing using the combined joints.
▼ The Pterodactyl acts as the chest armor of the combination, and the double cannons give it a sense of volume when installed. The white skeleton needs to be removed during combination.
▼ The double cannons are fixed in detail grooves using snaps, which is a clever design idea rarely seen in previous Daishoshin toys.
▼ The Sabertooth Tiger and Triceratops serve as the double leg components, with similar volumes and painted details on their bodies.
▼ The head of the Triceratops can be lifted, and the mouth can open wide.
▼ The Sabertooth Tiger's articulation is less than the Tyrannosaurus Rex, with moving head, mouth, front legs, and hind legs, plus a sad little eye expression, making it very cute to play with.
▼ Combine! Beast War Vehicle!
The form before the combination of the Daishoshin can also be transformed into a humorous "Dragon Man" form through simple deformation.
▼ Daishoshin! Descend!
Based on the combination of the Beast War Vehicle, replacing the head with that of the Daishoshin completes the transformation. The overall design is close to a 3-head SD proportion, with the head carving still retaining its divine charm even in Q version.
▼ It stands approximately 16cm tall, making it quite large in terms of volume.
▼ The blade of the dinosaur sword is chrome-plated silver, giving it a cool touch, although it is not made of alloy material. Be sure to clean fingerprints promptly.
▼ The neck has a single ball joint that allows for about a 35-degree movement upwards or downwards.
▼ The arms can be raised horizontally, with the elbows bent approximately 90 degrees. The shoulders use transformation joints to allow for slight stretching.
▼ The arms can also be equipped with double cannons.
▼ There are three types of replacement hand shapes: fists, weapon-holding, and open palms.
▼ The waist features an extendable joint that allows for exaggerated bending and backward movements, possibly reserved for future combination with "Dragon King Caesar"? Combined with the leg joints, it can achieve a single-knee kneeling stance.
▼ The legs can kick about 90 degrees, and the ankles can flex over 75 degrees when making kicking poses.
▼ When bending the knee joints, be sure to remove the Tyrannosaurus Rex's foot pads for a maximum bend of about 90 degrees.
▼ There is a reinforcement structure underneath each leg to improve stability when standing.
▼ Afterword
As the first wave of the series, it breaks the stereotype of Q version toys with no mobility in the 3-head figure combining, achieving both style and articulation. Single-knee kneeling, kicking, slashing, and other poses can be easily achieved, making it very enjoyable. It also demonstrates Action Toys' experience and charm in making Q version figures. Since the overall finish is mostly glossy, there is no need to worry about paint scratches, so feel free to play with it boldly. Remember to clean fingerprints from the chrome plating of the dinosaur sword. Now that it has obtained Japanese version authorization, can Dragon King Caesar and Beast Riding God Wrist Dragon King be scheduled for release soon?
