SuperNova Model MG 1/100 XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell Model Kit
ditark: Another Reissue. Great but I remember about 50 usd the first edition.
PsychoJagdDoga: Supernova is defunct now, I think. They closed their doors so their kits spiked up in price due to rarity/limited availability. I could be wrong but that's the idea.
The crew behind Supernova went on to form a new group that's already working on a new gunpla inspired by the Blitz Gundam too. The Plamo Times on facebook has info.
Scifigure Industry Asy-Tac Fronteer Kainar MG 1/100 UNX-04S Norma Model Kit
PsychoJagdDoga: Amatsu Hana feed, Barbatos legs, a whole lot of revised Delta Plus in the torso, head, arms, etc, and one of the antagonist Gundams from SEED with those canon wings. I can see the inspiration for this kit and honestly it looks like an incredibly sleek kitbash. Fantastic.

Also three different kinds of black plastic. Wonder how they'll do those red touches all over.
HowlingStar Cenozoicera Atmosphere CZ-12A Nebula B-Type Model Kit
PsychoJagdDoga: Searched for images and found a lore pic in Chinese and I image translated it into English. Pics below.

Official name for this unit is "Nebula". Turns out this machine is built for high speed and space exploration, specifically to act as a defense for  an orbital space station...I think. The translation is a bit wonky. Point is, it's a giant human piloted mecha (I think) which is the first of its kind in the lore and acts as a guardian for a space exploration vessel of some kind. I guess it's like Star Trek meets Gundam.

I wish more studios put this much thought into their unique mecha designs. It's bare-bones lore but I really like this one now.

Craiden: Do you think this is a model kit with a pre build frame?

By Nov 14,2022 06:34:27

PsychoJagdDoga: So far, I think it is. The pictures make it look like it has a pre-built plastic inner frame.
[Coming Soon] Threezero 3Z0407 1/6 FigZero Chainsaw Man Denji
Robogeek1973: So was this guy bitten by a radioactive chainsaw?

No idea what his origin is, but he's definitely a neat (if not weird) looking character.
PsychoJagdDoga: He did not get bitten by a radioactive chainsaw, silly.
He got befriended by a demonic chainsaw puppy.
HS GNY-001 Astraea Gundam Model Kit
rico soul: Early reviews of this are in.
So it's pretty much just a direct color swap of the HS red astraea type-f avalanche kit and all the same problems are here. Even the clear type-f mask and GN hammer is included on the runners

So for people unfamiliar with the HS red Astraea avalanche from before, you can build both the base astraea and the avalanche version.

So notable negatives are:
- The swords are painted on the runners so there will be visible nub marks  after cutting them out
- nub placement on the kit can be in poorly designed places so nub cleanup can be a bit of a pain
- frame is based on the MG Exia frame and even though the ankles are modified it can still be a bit floppy if displaying without an action base
- reviews say the joints are decently tight out of the box for different poses, but I know for the red avalanche before, people had complained about joins sagging over time.

No LED is included in this kit, but it would be compatible with any MG Exia compatible LED

I've always liked the aesthetics of the HS Astraea even though it's not a direct rip of the metal build design. Since it's mostly compatible with the Exia metal frame kits, a lot of the joint issues can be fixed.
PsychoJagdDoga: Gonna get this and try to fit it with the Tiechuang Model MG 1/100 metal parts set. Hopefully it mostly fits.
That said, you rico soul are primo commenter of commenters. I love this site and people who dig for info post here, like you, make it even better. You know Hobby Star inside and out and because of your reviews I've decided to go all in here. I know you said the Exia kits were better for the molds but I like this unique pale Avalanche Astrea. Definitely a better deal than the Type X sadly because of the price, but this is gonna be an interesting build.
Robox Animation TEST-70 Armored Colossus Bailu Air Combat Custom Model Kit
rico soul: This is another metal frame model kit coming out of China. This one actually has me quite interested.

Robox Animation has released a metal build style figure before and was a pretty solid design. So it'll be interesting to see how they design this metal frame model kit.

Maybe because it's more of an original design, I don't think their previous release received as much hype as the more Gundam like metal builds. But personally I like this style as a general mecha fan.

They are doing any interesting promotion, the kit is already priced well initially starting at 198 RMB retail, but they will drop the retail price depending on much many preorders ends up happening, down to a crazy good 158 RMB potentially if they get over 50K preorders before July. Not sure if any of that will translate here but it's at least an interesting promo.

Currently this kit is scheduled to be released October 2023 with more information to come in July.
PsychoJagdDoga: Turns out they reached the goal in China!
Zao Workshop Saint Armor Redeem Model Kit
rico soul: Zao workshop just released a final product photo and I have to say it looks a lot better than the CG renders to me.
We also see a potential box art for this.

Note we see red effect parts on this photo, which is a preorder bonus, rather than the yellow orange effect parts normally. On that topic, the other preorder bonus is UV/blacklight reactive waterslide decals,

I'm still not fully sold on this design but the latest photos is swaying me more in the favorable direction.

Bobajol: Do you know if they replace the yellow with the red parts or if they give you the red parts as a bonus.

PsychoJagdDoga: Optional addition parts as pre-order bonus. LIke rico said
IN ERA+ PMD Aurora Model Kit /w Metal Frame
rico soul: Here are the latest colored renders of this kit, named Aurora in English.

Seems to be a nice and clean design. Doesn't seem to have a huge backpack like all of the previous IN Era kits
PsychoJagdDoga: Sinanju inspired backpack. Nice. It is way cleaner than i expected of the otherwise super robot design
[Pre-Order] 4th Party 1/100 Rx-93-v2 Hi-v Gundam Model Kit Standard Version
PsychoJagdDoga: Depending on solidity this could end up being the next ultimate version of the greatest Gundam ever. Hype for this!
Sentinel Toys Riobot Linebarrels Of Iron EX-Linebarrel
PsychoJagdDoga: If this was a model kit I would have split in half dude. I've been aching for a Linebarrels for ages and this? This is PERFECTION. Sucks it's just a figure, but I guess figure collectors and Linebarrels fans with fat wallets can enjoy. This is so good it'd be impressive to show off on a date honestly
